The Flour Pot’s team of talented Bakers are true craftspeople, passionate about all aspects of bread and viennoiserie. Our Bakers source the best stone milled flour, English sea salt and speciality butter for perfectly balanced loaves and pastries created with the utmost integrity. Our sourdough breads are made using a traditional slow fermentation method that combines the humblest ingredients. Flour, water, salt, naturally occurring yeast and patience produce delicious naturally leavened loaves free from additives.
We nurture our bread at every stage of the process; feeding our heirloom starter so the natural yeast can thrive, carefully combining, kneading and resting our dough to create the perfect open crumb; hand shaping each loaf and slow baking them for the ultimate caramelised crust.
Forged in a longstanding artisan tradition, The Flour Pot Bakery utilises traditional processes and contemporary food concepts when creating new products. We incorporate nutritious nuts, seeds and other natural ingredients to add further dimensions and nutritional characteristics to our breads.

Handcrafted pastries made with French butter and a variety of sweet or savoury fillings. Delicious on their own; even better when paired with a Flour Pot coffee. Our best sellers include flaky pain au chocolats, warm cinnamon buns and traditional french croissants. Our vegan toasted coconut and chocolate pastry has been an instant hit!

Our morning offer includes maple roasted granola with Greek yogurt and fruit compote, hand-rolled and baked sweet pastries, warm porridge oats with date and cinnamon or breakfast toasties filled with ham and cheese. If you're heading to our beachfront store, we also offer baked eggs in a spicy tomato stew, 'lost bread' and classic scrambled eggs on sourdough.

Our Pizza Wednesdays selling sourdough pizza bases were so popular, we now sell our sourdough pizza bases on a Friday too perfect for the weekend. Our house-made tomato and oregano sauce will be on sale from next week, alongside pizza stones and cutters.
